The Australian Barley Board found the contamination during the routine
testing of a batch of canola seeds in a shipment delivered to a number of
sites operated by Victoria's GrainCorp

In Australia, genetically modified canola is restricted to trial crops only,
with a sweeping moratorium currently in force on commercial GM crops.
