Yep. Guide books are handy in that they contain information on
destinations, or didn't you know that? It's not a book of commands on 
how to travel.

The 'laid back' part comes from having no particular destination in mind 
when the day starts. And for such a traveler a rail pass is a must; if 
you have any imagination at all it's not hard to understand why that's 
good advice.
