Dear all,

Has anyone ever travelled the trainroute Fuji-city to Kofu?
Is it nice?
I have travelled Tokyo/Shinjuku to Matsumoto many times and loved it , but
now wonder, as I will be in Miyanoshita near Hakone, to go by bus to
Fuji-shi and take the train to Kofu, change there and go onwards to
Matsumoto.
Time is not important,  but a new nice,interesting route is.
Has anyone of you taken this route and is it nice?
I have travelled by bus from Kawaguchiko along the East side of Mt Fuji to
Lake Ashi but I have never travelled along the West side of Mount Fuji.

We also consider to go from Kofu first to Kawaguchiko, stay 2 nights at the
Sunnide hotel and then travel to Matsumoto, see the castle and after that
travel to Tsunago.
Has anyone of you stayed in the Sunnide hotel?
Ofcourse this route is a detour but that is not important.
I just do not like the route Odawara-Nagoya-Nagiso.
Before Nagoya-Nagiso used to be beautiful, but now it looks as if Nagoya has
extended as far as Nakatsugawa.....
