Why don't you understand, and why wouldn't someone insult stupidity on Japanese
TV? There are even fortunate individuals who make a living out of in the
English dailies.

God, I wish I had a job like that. One guy will even write that he watches
shows pretty much at random, or glances at what his kid happens to be watching,
and how he has to leave the room or change the channel because he can't stand
more than a few minutes of it, then write about how bad his impression was, and
have it appear in print for a living.

Another cool job to have in Japan would be the guys who get paid to paraphrase
the Japanese weekly magazines making fun of various aspects of society for the
Mainichi on a daily basis, and weekly for the Japan Times, while absolving
themselves of responsibility:

"WaiWai stories are transcriptions of articles that originally appeared in
Japanese language publications. The Mainichi Daily News cannot be held
responsible for the contents of the original articles, nor does it guarantee
their accuracy. Views expressed in the WaiWai column are not necessarily those
held by the Mainichi Daily News or Mainichi Newspapers Co."
