It is? The only place I can imagine encountering much in the way of 
merkanisms in my daily life in here in the not-usenet, but a google 
search of FJLIJ reveals only one mention - mine.

Only newspapers/mags I read in English are Austrian or English, I think 
I've only seen 2 flicks at the cinema in English this year (Harry Potter 
& something), and "gone postal" doesn't appear to have popped up on BBC 
or ABC. Everything else I see or hear is japaneez.
