Actually, the punchline is that the ballot showed up in today's email. Purely coincidental, I'm sure, but a minor annoyance, since I'll have to take some time off from work to mail it tomorrow. However, it really is an infuriating ballot. I was gerrymandered completely out of Lloyd Doggett's district. In fact, the gerrymandering was so effective that the Democrats didn't even bother to nominate a candidate for my new district.
