I generally hate serious reading, and only own between five and ten "serious" books on the WWII era such as Embracing Defeat, which is why it needs to be taught as part of the regular curriculum in schools. If we allow especially the young and impressionable to choose their own reading material without some foundation, it may consist of primarily comics, fashion, entertainment and sports. My current favorite is Dan Brown, but I've already read his two books which seemed interesting. I have no desire to read Deception Point further. -- "I'm on top of the world right now, because everyone's going to know that I can shove more than three burgers in my mouth!"
