If she'd like to be typecast in the West (further) as a martial arts movie
performer, the way Jet Li and Jackie Chan are, that doesn't mean it's a bad
way to go. Li and Chan seem satisfied with their lot, despite having much
longer, more successful careers at home. Zhang is still very young and does
have skill as a performer.

I wonder if they will find some excuse for the heroine of "Memoirs of a
Geisha" to get into some intense airborne two handed sword action. Otherwise
there are perfectly fine Japanese performers they could be using instead.

Considering the money she is allegedly making, $250,000 or $350,000 per
Chinese/Korean picture, actually, I believe she could make more money doing
commercials in Japan for Pantene shampoo and the like.
