DETOUR ROUTES

During the hours affected by the works on September 25th, JR ticket and pass
holders will be allowed on Tokyo Metro, Toei Subway, Keio Line (entire
Inokashira Line and Keio Main Line between Shinjuku-Meidaimae) free of extra
charge. Ask for a "furikae" pass to get through the gates.

Expect the Yamanote Line to be crowded on this day, having to carry passengers
which normally use Saikyo Line and Shonan-Shinjuku Line trains. Trips downtown
on this day best avoided. To avoid Shinjuku consider using the Keihin-Tohoku
Line (sky-blue trains) and the Musashino Line (orange trains). (No extra fare
for detours within JR.)
