また、パウエル長官は日本の一部で人質になった人の自己責任を指摘
したり、軽率だなどと批判する声が出ていることについて、「危険を知りな
がら良い目的のためにイラクに入る市民がいることを日本人は誇りに思う
べきだ。もし人質になったとしても、『危険をおかしてしまったあなたがたの
過ちだ』などと言うべきではない」と述べた

なぜか Tokyo Broadcasting System にてパウエル長官がしゃべった内容を
TBS（同じ会社のはずですが）が訳すと "Soldiers" をすっぽり抜かしています。
今時このような誤魔化しが許されると思っているんだったらTBS はかなりおめ
でたいですね。

かつて、石原知事発言を編集したTBSですからこの程度の「操作」はお手の
ものなのかも知れませんけどね。
