Our Fiction and Poetry Competitions began in 1998 and since that time,
through seven competitions, we have never asked for an entry or
reading  fee. The $100 cash prizes were given from donations made to
the  Review. Unfortunately, our income from donations in recent years
has come  from the same few people it always has. We could continue as
we have done  in the past but we couldn't grow. It is then with
something of a heavy heart we have to announce that for future
competitions we will be charging a nominal $5 per three poems or one
short story.  

 The deadline for the next Poetry and Fiction Competitions is February
28th, 2004.
