hi all, have just set up a mirrored disk array (2x80GB) and everything seems
to be well - just after some info - after a system restart, the OS loads
fine however hard disk(s) show high activity for an extended period
(currently 1hr as I type this)....process dmadmin.exe consuming
abt 4-10% CPU activity and 4000k memory so obviously the Logical Disk
Manager
is doing something....does the system need to perform some sort of check
scan of all files on the disks on a restart? can i stop this process?

any advice appreciated.
