when the camera is turned on it defaults to all its normal settings..
pic size default is HQ 2048x1536
as well as all the other settings
to stop this you need to open front of cam (turn on) and
go to: 
mode menu  /    set    /all reset/    OFF

then the settings will all be left as last used

we have only had the camera 3 days.....and we were thinking it may be
better to leave it at the defaut so that we wouldnt find ourselves
taking pics in a setting we accidently put it in hahahahah
