That should be a capital 'T' on "taffs" - as in the River Taff which flows
through Cardiff.

I agree that the Welsh Grand Slam victory celebrations might make the
festivities following England's World Cup win look somewhat muted.

I fully expect the BBC will rush release the season highlights DVD within a
couple of weeks - any Welsh rugby DVD always sells like hotcakes. Hell, it
might even inspire someone at the Beeb to re-master the highlights footage
of the great games in the 1970's. I have to watch my copy of that video
with the brightness set at maximum on my television (use of floodlights at
international games was banned until the later 1980's).

Of course the real test for the team will be this autumn when the southern
hemisphere sides tour Europe. I'm not hopeful of a Lions tour victory this
summer in New Zealand - perhaps a 1-2 defeat. The selection of the front
eight WILL determine the outcome of the matches. Just glad that tosser
Hodgson won't be on the plane to NZ.

It's nice to know that the RWC in 2007 will feature at least six nations
with a chance of winning the tournament instead of the usual five.
