Kobe is a betrayer. Physically, I mean geographically it's in Kansai
but mentally they are not. Actually, those Kobe folks extremely
despise us, as well as those in Tokyo. As a matter of fact, Kobe is a
newly developped city after the Meiji restoration, and they don't have
Kinai culture much. Himeji is like Kobe's slave. Although Himeji is
not Kinai, it's an old castle town which used to be a good follower of
Kinai. But not anymore, they worship Kobe of the pseudo Western city
then despise us.
