I understand that NOVA has part-time and temporary positions.  They may be 
the actual embodiment of the anti-Christ here in Japan (Sepponia has lawyers 
to fill that role), but if you really want a job that you can leave at a 
moment's notice then the bigger the company the better IMHO - no guilt 
factor.

Maybe someone, maybe even you can qualify something I've been puzzling over. 
Are gaijin, for example, on a three-year work visa who lose their job 
allowed to go job hunting and still remain in the country - I'd like to add 
the necessary correct answer to my arsenal of useless trivia.
