Well, he already had majorities in the House and Senate. Those 
majorities simply grew. As for partial-birth abortion, it was banned 
last year at the federal level, although the majority of states already 
had bans.

Not likely. If _Roe v. Wade_, which was significantly eroded by _Casey_, 
were overturned tomorrow, abortion would remain legal just as it was 
before _Roe_. The only difference would be that states would have the 
option to ban it.
