I doubt it. I think Japanese is much nastier to master than any other 
language I know.

But I think a usenet posting is different than tegami and personal e-mail. 
That is why usually usenet groups have a topic (not this one though -I 
always felt like this (fjlij) is like one hijacked newsgroup) and a purpose. 
For instance, I am a translator and I use sci.lang.translation for asking 
and getting almost instant replies to language questions troubling me. I 
admit that I get some junk replies from some assholes, but most of the 
replies are get are helpful.
