Hi...
I practice Judo since I was 7 years old. Now, I am 33 yeras and I try to
keep myself on judo way. Training hours have changed depending on my age.
From 14 to 18 years, I practiced three days per week, one hour per day (3
hours) When I got brown belts, I begun to train three days a week 2 hours
per day. When I studied on University, I trained 5 days a week 1.5 hours per
day (until I was 25 years old). Before I get my second dan (when I was 25),
I letf traning and I only did judo as hobby. There were years that I almost
didn't train, but I wanted to keep my relationship with judo, so I became
referee. If you are in contact with comeptitions by refereeing, you feel
that judo is on you in a strong way. So, this year I prepared myself for
tird dan just before summer. My intention is to keep in contact with judo:
by teaching, by refereeing, by training with young people... and even doing
katas. It must pass four yeras for getting fourtha dan.

I never did any other martial art but judo. During one year, maybe two, I
did jiu-jitsu. But I didn't like it. There was a component of violence
unknown in judo training. But I respect all jiu-jitsu players.

Bes regards

Jigo
