I've always used AU, and always Sony or Sony-Ericsson telephones. My
current 'basic model' A1402S (basic means that you get it for free as a new
customer) does the job required of it. An especially nice touch is being
able to download any photos via IR ('infrared for younger members) to my
PDA - saves the cost of mailing them to myself. But anyway, I'm a rather
unique customer in that 90% of my keitai costs are for making regular
telephone calls - actual speaking! The other 10% is for checking the
baseball scores.

BTW I heard that the proposed rule about driving and using a keitai did in
fact become law last month. So anyone get done yet? (I might add that the
law states that driving, using a mobile telephone, drinking can-coffee,
smoking, and getting hand-relief from your high-school girl passenger all at
the same time is not punishable - just so long as you took your shoes off
before getting into the vehicle).
