ooops - he's headed over to supernova.com methinks.
A general rule-of-thumb for anything p2p. If you're paying for it then it's
NOT p2p. All those Sepp college dorm geeks are not going to pay for their
movies, software and mp3s.
I AM paying for a fast newsgroup service at the moment though - and
thouroughly enjoying it too. Still can't figure out the best newsgroup
client. NewsbinPro is good but searching headers is boring and Junkie
Newsgroup client isn't freeware (well, neither is Newsbin...but...;)

I want to configure that Protowall software - but it seems to require more
than a casual level of attention - which considering I was in the hosptial
this morning having two kidney stones zapped is somwhat lacking at the
moment. Can you tell me what to d/load and what to configure?
BTW I lucked out on the stones - 3 hours of excruciating pain while the damn
things passed into my bladder, but I was fortunate that the on-call doctor
was my students' father and had treated me for the same condition 8 years
ago - right down to the same weekend - I remember because I went to my first
sumo basho in Nagoya just after the stone was smashed up! The doctor worked
in Denmark for 5 years so he's also an excellent English-speaker. We had a
not-unpleasant time chewing the cud for a hour while he broke-up the stones
with his nice soundwave device. I love Japanese hospitals - they always
have lots of expensive toys.
