Vividness of colors has nothing to do with it being an online game.  It's
all about RGB (red green blue) values or HSL (hue saturation luminosity)
values.  FFXI looks more like the real world than games like World of
Warcraft, and I like the realism.  There are vibrant colors, though.
They're just not thrown at you every 4 steps.
