I think you got that wrong this year at least. Earthquakes in Japan
are as common as thunderstorms here in England. There are a lot of
forums and one newsgroup on usenet dedicated to British weather.

Do you have a newsgroup for people with strange (or at least
unconventional) beliefs about science? Alt groups perhaps?
