Thanks the the recommendations, guys.  I've still got them on the
table, but at this point we're thinking of just going on in to Tokyo to
a known hotel in Ueno, doing one night and shipping out the next
afternoon.  It seems a more direct approach.

We can't seem to nail down the full trip schedule, though, without
spending almost a full day on the road a couple of times, which I'll
ask about under a different thread title...
