OS 9 installation
Hi,
I have an old program that runs only in OS 9 using MacResourceFork.
I got an old Mac with OS 9 but it also have OS 10 installed and I believe it prevents the use of programs using MacResourcefork so my program doesn't run.
I undestand that Resourse fork cannot be used if the Unix File System (UFS) has been installed, probably by the OS 10 installation.
Is it possible to remove the UFS by removing the OS 10? How?
Or, I got an OS 9 installation disk. What's the best way to reformat the hard drive to remove OS 10. I tried a clean installation and ended up with OS 9.1, 9.2 and 10...
How do you access the reformat feature?, and will the CD drive still work to instal the CD with OS 9?
Please advise - thanks!
