Ｋ田という男がＷ銀行に就職した。履歴書には、Ｓ大学卒業と
あったが、１０年後に本当は中退だったと判った。

Ｋ田はＷ銀行での成績は悪くないので、（以下のLonchar氏と
違い）クビにはならなかった。

Ｗ銀行はＫ田が学歴詐称で起訴されることを望んでいない。

しかし、多くの人は起訴を望んでいる。この人々は検察にどの
ように働きかければ良いのですか？

VeritasのCFO、学歴詐称で退社
 
　Veritas SoftwareのCFO（最高財務責任者）が、履歴書にウ
ソの経歴を記入していたことが発覚し、退社した。同社が3日
明らかにしたところでは、前CFOのKenneth E. Lonchar氏は、
スタンフォード大学で経営学修士を取得したと履歴書に記入し
ていたが、これは偽りだったという。 

　後任のCFOには暫定的に上級副社長のJay A. Jones氏が就任
し、年末までには新CFOを任命する予定。

Veritas CFO leaves after resume lie exposed

The chief financial officer of Veritas Software has left
the company after it was revealed that he had false
credentials on his resume. Mountain View, Calif.-based
Veritas said Thursday that former CFO Kenneth E. Lonchar
falsely claimed to have received an MBA from Stanford
University. He is being replaced on an interim basis by
Jay A. Jones, senior vice president, chief administrative
officer and former general counsel. Veritas said it
expects to name a new CFO by the end of the year.
