1. In Outlook Express click Tools>Options>General tab>click the first of the
two "make default" buttons.

2. If that doesn't work, edit the registered file types so that "URL:MailTo
Protocol" is linked to Outlook Express. (If you have Windows XP open any
folder and click tools>folder options>file types tab to find this but you
must be running an "administrator" account to change it.)
