Heh.... It's possible I read the book before the "flick" came out (no
way would I have been allowed to see such a movie at age 10, but my
grandad was buying me some strange job-lots of books from second-hand
stalls).

Hmmmmmm.... I wonder why our landlord hasn't heard of such things--we
have a young jungle growing up around the aircon units at the back. The
tacky new houses on that plot behind us also have similar problems, but
that could simply be due to the total stinginess of the builders.
