My experience living on an island with 85% humidity and lows in the 30's 
is that it is the clothing that makes the most difference. If I wear 
clothing that traps the sweat, I wind up stinking to high heaven. If I 
wear loose-fit clothing that allows the sweat to run and evaporate, the 
foul odor doesn't develop.

Of course, typical Japanese attire seems pretty silly to me for their 
climate, nothing like we typically wear in the Caribbean.
