Way too soon indeed.  There are towns that are missing half of their population or more now (~10,000+)  They aren't saying what everyone suspects (knows) to be the truth about the matter.

Bought a cheap phone yesterday so it could be used during a power cut.  Phones with faxes are likely to be useless as I have found out previously.  Just discovered my new fangled PC doesn't have a modem on it so internet is likely to go away for a while.  Going to have to either dig out an old computer or else by a USB modem.  Tried to get a 1-Seg tuner yesterday but failed.

Spousal unit is talking about wanting to leave Japan.  I am not quite at that stage yet.
