A problem with the screen - hardware or software?
Hello.
I have recently bought a Toshiba notebook - Toshiba Satellite A100-784
with Windows Vista Basic installed and I'm having some problems with
it. The thing is about the screen which is breaking down every day
several times a day. When the computer is working, after a while, the
whole screen messes up - I mean, I can see only the black screen or
only some parts of the things I am using. The status bar, which always
is on the bottom of the screen, appears at the top and it is reversed
horizontally. When I use the mouse and the cursor moves, then it makes
some parts appear or disappear. Sometimes, the whole screen acts like
crazy, everything appears or disappears even if I don't move the
cursor. If I click in any part of the screen, then the parts I could
see change and I can see other things, but never the whole screen as I
should see it. I have no idea why it is like that, I tried to find out
some regularity in it but it's impossible. Many times it all started
to break down when I clicked on the "START" button down in the left
corner. Sometimes it happens when I click some icon on the desktop.
And sometimes it just happens without me interfering. And, of course,
when it happens, I can do nothing about it, I can't get out of it, the
only thing I can do is to press "on" button on the computer and
restart it. What can I do with it? Where do you think the problem is?
The graphic card? The screen? Or Windows Vista? Please, try to find a
solution.
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks in advance.
