In the case of the OP it was a matter of flunking college due to
spending too much time & energy trolling his way through our once
lovely not quite usenet. I have every sympathy for those who don't have
opportunities, not quite so much for those who squander them.

Not a good example. The vast majority of Koreans in Japan were born
here. Others received their certificate of eligibility through marriage
etc, but all the others needed degrees for the CoE, or came as students
or working holiday makers. There are of course some illegal Korean
overstayers, but the last place you will find them is working in
manufacturing "on the line" - those are often generally good jobs.

My job specifically includes helping people "circumnavigate the
paperwork, grants and student loans". The way I became a visa proxy was
applying the knowledge learned helping people jump through such hoops.
As you can see from my first post in this thread, I try to give
informative answers to most of the visa related inquiries that I see
here, even when they come from Matt Outland, and even when the thank
you takes the form of

"YOU SICK BASTARD., WHY DONT YOU SHOW SOME HUMILITY ONCE IN YOUR LIFE
AND STOP ACTING LIEK AN AUSSIE TURD!!!"

Charming.

I did not post the "to take English" remark. Please do not copy/paste
and attribute posts to different people.

Not at all. Welcome to the group. You are in Wakayama now?
