Not sure if I understood your situation exactly, but instead of buying
a new machine to run your English OS, why not obtain XP (by whatever
method you choose) and dual boot one of your exisiting machines?  Ive
done this on one machine with  Japanese and English versions of Windows
2000, but not sure how well it goes with XP.
