Yea, the good old times are gone when a top-of-the-line 300 dpi laser
printer would churn out beautiful English teaching degrees from various US
universities by using a software called "Certificate Maker". Only the big
universities would check, and there was no Internet yet (beginning of 1980),
and some interviewers couldn't distinguish between standard and non-standard
English anyway.
Some of the guys who landed cozy jobs have retired by now and are not worry
about their future...:-)
