Workcamp in Italy, Piemonte!
>From June 18 to July 2, Association Serydarth and Terra Popoli Colori
ONLUS, has organized in Pontestura (next to Casale Monferrato,
Piemonte, Italy) an international volontering camp with the
International Civil Service. It will develop, in a very beautiful area
that is the Park of the Po (the longest river in Italy), and more
precisely in a Natural Reserve. A zone rich of flora, birds of every
type, animals... (www.parcodelpo-vcal.it/educazione_ambientale.htm)
10 international volunteers will contribute to make more cleaned the
area and to build some game for the children. The job will develop in
the morning and is not fatiguing (apart for the warm) while in the
afternoon there will be some beautiful activities of environmental
education with excursions, trips and interactive moments. I quote only
someone of it, to give you an idea ("The discovery of the Square Sea",
"The keepers of the night"). Besides, Pontestura is part of the
Monferrato (www.monferrato.org), a stupendous hilly zone where wines of
the best quality are produced (and there will be a lot occasions to
taste them...).
Then, excursions, pic-nic, visits (the sea and the Alps are enough
near), nighttime parties (but also diurnal...), but above all so much
sharing, exchange, and happy moments are scheduled.
The volunteers will sleep and they will eat in a field structure
already equipped by the Civil Protection.
There are still some available places and if you are interested I
suggest to expedite you, contacting or the International Civil Service
of your country (www.sciint.org/addresslist/addressframe.html),
or for every type of information, detail, everything, you can write to
me to the address serydarth@yahoo.it. The code of the camp is IT 6-1
(http://camps.sciint.org/show_camp.php?campid=6403).
So, welcome, otherwise I hope to meet you in another occasion and I
wish you a summer full of peace and love!
Cristhian
