Breadmaker
Somebody was giving a demonstration on making bread with a breadmaking
machine. He must have gotten the perfect recipe for German bread since it
was better than I ever got here in Japan.
Now I am in the market for such a machine. Does it really matter which model
to select? Several models at Bic Camera show only difference in the size of
the inner container. Years ago it must have been an issue when I read about
recommended USA made models, and inadequate Japanese made models.
I'd like to hear from people who use such a machine... plus the common flour
and other required ingredients available in Japan. I am not interested in
ready-made baking mixtures that produce a Yamazaki-style lump. Any
recommendable recipes?
Last not least - when making German bread - you need to use CARAWAY SEED!
