Was it the Panasonic P901 you bought by any chance? AFAIK, to introduce
new music from the PC to the SD card you have to buy "SD Jukebox"
software, which does all the required update of the SD Card so that the
data can be read by the phone. I would guess other phones are similar.
I wonder if you could get the tunes instead by uploading them to a web
page, then downloading them through the phone.
If it wasn't Obon, I could check out further details.
