differentiate between an arc and one caused by a load
hai,
I'm working on getting a system that will distinguish between an real
arc and one that are caused by turning on some loads.
so far what i did was take two set of data from a load across a shunt
and do a least square method to obtain the residual. although my
residual for a real arc and a residual caused by turning a smps load
look different in magnitude, it is not always same.
i wud like to get some idea of how i can distinguish between them.
as u all know the difference between the voltages across the shunt will
give a representation of the current. So i was might be i could use it.
but no ideas.
so if anyone cud help me with some ideas, it will b really helpful.
thank you,
siva.
