The fella from NHK buzzed my intercom about 10 minutes ago (Sunday
evening). I didn't go to open the door (still stark naked and nursing a
hangover) so just chatted on the handset/phone thingee.

"Heard that a new person has moved in..." etc etc

"I'm the new householder"

"I've come to collect the jushinryou..." etc etc

"Don't have a TV" (truth, haven't got around to buying one)

and so on it went.

He seemed more than a little skeptical (surprise!), so I told him that
I was a gaigin and just used the internet whenever I wanted to find out
WTF was going on.

Any bets on when he comes back? Monthly? Weekly? Tommorrow?
