That's easy. The hard part for a bar, though, is getting the wood. In
the US there's a trend towards recycling older wood that is excellent
for such things; has that aged look to it, and old oak out of, say , a
barn or workshop (such as a large workbench) is usually quite hard.
Just needs resurfacing and you're in business (but getting that done in
Japan might be a bitch; I just don't know).

When I helped rebuild a restaurant in San Francisco we made a bar out
of a wood frame with marble for the top; very nice (you can use floor
tile). I'm going to do the same thing with a desk I'm working on.
