A very handsome teacher arrived at my school (years ago, when I taught
in an eikaiwa), recruited most definitely for his looks because nobody
could understand a damn thing he said, including most native speakers.
I forget what part of England he was from. Luckily he fit the
requirement for the run-of-the-mill chain eikaiwa of the day.
