If you'll search on M35X system board, you'll find lots of hits on different
sites with people that have had problems. I tried to tell Toshiba that I
was unhappy with the length of time it took to repair my M35XS149, but all
they gave me was a snail mail address to write to. I did write, and I
received a courteous reply, but nothing else. Wait, they did offer $50 off a
long term maintenance contract. Wowee! Thanks a lot! I'm surprised and
disappointed. I bought a Toshiba because I thought that they produced a
quality product. I was wrong. I have written of my problems on eopinions,
and I encourage you to do so also. There are a couple of people at work who
know of the problems and I have them sold that Toshiba isn't standing behind
their products, so they won't buy one.

Short of a class-action lawsuit, which I'm not sure I have the stomach for,
I'm not sure what else to do except for tell everyone i know and write it on
the web about this model, I guess it's the whole series, and its
shortcomings, but most importantly, Toshiba's poor customer service.

Maybe we need a website like toshibasucks.com that will document our
problems. Anyone want to volunteer?
