Re: VB ?
I'm not entirely sure myself, but I'm thinking that you'll have to
either update your explorer, or just re-install it. I had some problems
similar to that, and doing the installs in this order solved a LOT of it for
me:
1. Install your OS (w2k in your case...mines Win98se)
2.Update Windows from their update site
3. Install the VB programs
4. if there are any, THEN go ahead and update the VB part.
Since you allready have your system installed, remove the VB install, update
w2k, then re-install VB...that MIGHT work....next option is waiste your time
and call them up...therefore taking away any support you might get from them
ever again (I hate that part of their messed-up service btw)....the last
part...CALLING THEM...please...do what you can to avoid that at ALL
costs....I can't stress that enough.
((((yeah yeah...I know...a promotion, but still...people need to make money
ya know))))
Another place to post to is through VBasement Games...Anthony(PTO) has been
programming in VB for 5+ years and may be able to help you with some of the
simple questions (simple ones only because his time is limited and he has a
lot on his plate)...I'm just a beginner, but may be able to help also,
especially with a lot of install problems 'cause I've ran into a heap-load
of 'em with Microsoft...
