Natalie Portman could do /so/ much more with a decent director (which George
Lucas is not). I think she could pull off a Rei. And I'm just going to
ignore fanboy comments about actresses not being hot enough. *rolls her
eyes*

Definitely not Carrie-Anne Moss. /So/ not Misato. Ashely Judd has popped
into my mind and stuck. Can go from very playful to very dramatic..

Y'know, I've seen glimpses of Gregory Smith from the WB show 'Everwood,' and
he seems quite a talented actor besides fitting my mental picture perfectly.
Great haunted type of look about him. Playing down his looks a little is
easy enough.
