blocked attachments.
Sometimes my son sends me an email with an attachment Invariably, when I
try to open the attachment, I get a message to the effect that OE has
blocked the attachment as being potentially unsafe. I was told by my ISP to
go to "Tools-Options-Security" and uncheck the box that reads "Do not allow
attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus". I am
reluctant to do this because I am deadly afraid of a virus attack and I want
to cling to whatever protection I can find (Incidentally, I am using
Norton's anti-virus). The attachments my son sends me are innocuous. For
example. he just sent me (and I cannot open) an attachment showing floor
plans for a house he is building. Is there a way I can remove him from the
"most unwanted emailer list" (or whatever it is called) ?
