...soooo, instead he manipulated everyone possible, disregarded any morality
in his actions, as long as he got what he wanted? Yeah, a great guy.

And I never take stuff like his pity-speech in EoE as any redemption.
Actions speak louder than words. Doesn't make him any better in my eyes.
