Not seen a word about it on his fan-club mailing list. Judging by
recent behaviour, he'll at best FW an email from someone on the topic,
then a couple of months later recycle the story into one of his
articles - I think he must pay the JT to print them.

The latest one was on accidental visa overstaying. Apart from a bunch
of second or third-hand stories and very misleading statements, he
mentioned that why can't the Immigration send you a reminder a couple
of months before you're due just like with your driving licence or
gaigin card? I thought, "Yeah, good point, why not?" However, he never
answered why not, no attempt made to try to find it, or even to ask
his readers to try to find out for themselves.
