Soory I've been slow - been out of the country for two weeks, but the
deposit was 200 man yen, and I think we even beat a couple of hundred
thou off it. From all the various estate agents and model rooms we
went to, they all said that the majority of first-time buyers are
effectively putting 0% down.

If you mean about reservation money for a yet-to-be-built place, I
think most of them were talking half a million to secure your room.

Hopefully I find out on Monday that they are giving me a vast sum at
1.25% fixed for three years, then 1% discount of base rates for the
remaining 32 years.
