Not reliably. Curiously, the power light (with no battery installed)
does not seem to hold on as easily as it (this same power light) does
when a battery is installed. I've noticed that the second battery - in
the dvd dock - seems to be ignored at times. Sometimes shown as not
installed. Sometimes ignored also for chargin. I suppose I'm just
about convinced that it's a problem with the connections at the power
socket......
