Thanks. I see the magnet on the bezel and the "sensor" on the board. There 
is almost no play on the posituib if the magnet. I tightened the two screws 
at the bottom of the bezel, it seems to help a bit. But the screen still 
will go into sleep unless it was open past about 95 degree or more from the 
base. All other laptops I have or had, the screen can close to much smaller 
angle without causing it to shutdown.

The magnet seems to be a bit bulky (1/2" x 3/4" x 1/4"). I wonder is it too 
big? If I simply remove the magnet, what will it do?
If it will only cause the screen won't shut off without other ill effect 
when I close the lid, that's will be fine with me.
